During my Second year of University, my Narrative Illustration class was assigned to do an storyboard animatic over an Aesop Fable. I chose was Fox & the Grapes, following a fox that is hungry for grapes and attempts to jump and reach the grapes, unsuccessfully. The fox scorns the grapes saying they are probably “sour” and not worth his time.

When creating this, I wanted to create a simple colour palette to allow the grapes and fox to stick out and match the fun and playful music. I also added the giggling mouse in order to laugh at those who look down on the things they can’t have.
